2. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your enquiry (e-mail, phone, WhatsApp, a message from the task-map form) and steps before a contract: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for ordinary correspondence Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest: handling correspondence).
- Performing a contract: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics), only with your consent: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
- Accounting and tax obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Establishing or defending claims: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The task-map form works only in your browser. Nothing from it reaches the server: the “Book a task map” button opens your e-mail app with a ready message that you send yourself.
3. What data
I process the data you give me in correspondence: your name, e-mail address, phone number, company name and invoicing details, and the content of your message, including the tasks you want to automate.
Data your firm processes in the automations (for example your clients’ data) is not covered by this policy. During a build I process it on your behalf, under a data processing agreement we sign before we start.
4. Recipients

I do not sell data or share it with anyone for marketing.
5. Cookies, analytics and third-party scripts
The site (in Polish at aplikacje.mackan.pl and in English at apps.mackan.pl) uses Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics (which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, whether someone clicked a contact link). The Google script loads only once you click “Accept” in the banner. Before you decide, and after “Reject”, not a single request goes to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and event data is kept for 14 months. What you type into the form and the addresses of the links you click are not sent to Google: a contact click sends only the method (phone, e-mail, WhatsApp, form).
Google may transfer data to the USA. The basis is the European Commission's decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, with standard contractual clauses as the fallback.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. On withdrawal the site deletes the _ga cookies. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage (localStorage, key theme). This never reaches the server. The site loads no third-party fonts.
The WhatsApp button is a plain link: the page loads nothing from WhatsApp. If you message me on WhatsApp, the message is processed by WhatsApp (Meta group), also outside the EEA, under its own privacy policy. If you would rather avoid that, e-mail or call me.
6. How long
- correspondence that did not lead to a contract: up to 12 months from the last contact,
- contract data: for the term of the contract and the limitation period for claims,
- Google Analytics data: 14 months,
- accounting documents: 5 years from the end of the tax year.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase or restrict it, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
8. Links to other sites
This site links to studio.mackan.pl and to my clients’ websites. Once you go there, their privacy policies apply.
9. Voluntary data and changes
Giving your data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply to your enquiry or sign a contract. I announce changes to this policy by publishing a new version with its date.
